Operation test |
Before the test, all scuppers in cold chambers to be plugged and during the test, all lightings in the |
chambers to be turned off and all doors in the chambers to be closed. |
The temperature of each chamber to be read by means of dial thermometer and temperature self- |
recorder for the test. |
Procedure | ||
1. | Drive two compressors until the provision chambers are cooling down to each design
temperature. | ||
2. | When the design temperature reaches in each cold chamber, adjust the room thermostat
to keep automatically the designed room temperature.
3. | Keep this condition by driving one compressor for twelve hours.
4. | Under the supervision of the Owner's representative, this running condition and temperature in
each chamber to be checked.
5. | After completion of the compressor running test for twelve hours, stop the compressor.
For the purpose of checking the insulation effect (temperature rise check in each chamber)
keep this condition for twelve hours.
Temperature self-recorder to be set in each cold chamber before operation test to record
continuous room temperature until the test is completed. |
Measuring and recording |
||
1. | During the test, record the operation condition of the condensing unit on the format.(Sheet 1)
2. | During the operation test, record the temperature in each chamber and ambient temperature
on the format (Sheet 2) | ||
3. | Temperature record in each chamber for 24 hours (12 hours for running condition, 12 hours
for insulation effect test) during the test to be obtained by temperature self-recorder
4. | The test records above 1), 2) and 3) to be confirmed by Owner's representative and
submitted to the concerned department including the design department. |
